Entity Responsible: HortSens Studio, a division of HortSens Technologies (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with the mobile application ARfi™ (“the App”), an augmented reality (AR) art exploration and economy simulation experience.
By downloading or using ARfi, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to its terms.
1. Scope and Purpose
This Policy applies to all users of ARfi worldwide.
Our objective is to ensure transparency regarding the personal information we collect, process, and protect in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We process personal information solely to enable, operate, and improve the functionality and user experience of ARfi.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary for the App to function properly and securely.
A. Information You Provide Directly
Account Data: When creating or signing into an account, you may provide information such as your email address, username, and password, or use platform authentication (Google, Apple).
Profile and Avatar Information: Optional user details such as display name, biography, and avatar customization.
User Content: Art placements, comments, ratings, or other creative content submitted within ARfi.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Device and Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, app version, IP address (truncated and anonymized where applicable), crash logs, and diagnostic data.
Usage Data: Interactions with in-app features and system performance analytics, collected solely to improve functionality.
Location Data: Approximate geographic location required to anchor and display digital artworks in AR. Location data is used only when AR features are active and never collected in the background.
Camera Access: The App requires access to the device’s camera exclusively for AR rendering. No camera footage or images are stored, transmitted, or analyzed remotely.
3. How We Use Information
We process your information for the following lawful purposes:
To provide and maintain core ARfi features and account services.
To save and synchronize user progress, art placements, and preferences.
To improve app stability, security, and user experience through analytics and diagnostics.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not use personal data for targeted advertising or unrelated marketing.
4. Payments and Purchases
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed exclusively through the official billing systems of Google Play and the Apple App Store.
We do not collect, process, or store payment card information.
Transaction data is handled in accordance with the respective platform’s privacy and security policies.
5. Data Storage and Security
All personal data is stored securely through Google Firebase Cloud Services or equivalent infrastructure, protected by encryption in transit and at rest.
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration of personal information.
Access to user data is strictly limited to authorized personnel for legitimate operational purposes.
6. Data Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We may disclose limited data only in the following cases:
To service providers that support app functionality (e.g., authentication, hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements.
To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
In the event of a business reorganization or acquisition, provided appropriate data protection safeguards are applied.

8. Children’s Privacy
ARfi is designed for individuals aged 13 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the data.

9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by applicable law.
When you delete your account, all associated personal data and user content are permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance.

Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence.
Where applicable, we rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards to ensure adequate protection consistent with international privacy standards.
