Terms of Use

1. Welcome to ARfi

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of ARfi, including the ARfi app, website, artist tools, playtest access, and related services.

By using ARfi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ARfi.

2. What ARfi Is

ARfi is a spatial music experience. It lets users discover, collect, listen to, and place music in real-world locations through augmented reality and location-based features.

ARfi may include early access, closed testing, artist tools, experimental features, and unfinished features that may change over time.

3. Accounts

You may need an account to use certain ARfi features. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate another person, artist, brand, company, or organization.

4. Safety

ARfi is designed for real-world exploration. You are responsible for your own safety while using ARfi.

5. Music and Content

You may only upload, place, publish, or submit music and content that you own or have permission to use.

You must not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other rights.

ARfi may remove content, limit distribution, suspend accounts, or block access if content violates these Terms or creates legal, safety, or platform risk.

6. Artist Tools

ARfi may provide tools for artists to submit music, manage releases, or place music experiences. Artist access may be approved, limited, suspended, or modified at ARfi’s discretion.

Artists are responsible for ensuring that submitted tracks, artwork, metadata, names, and promotional materials are accurate and legally cleared.

7. Prohibited Use

8. Early Access and Testing

ARfi may be offered as a closed test or early access product. Features may break, change, reset, disappear, or be restarted.

During testing, ARfi may remove test data, reset accounts, change in-app balances, modify music placement, or disable features to improve the product.

9. Payments

Some ARfi features may become paid. Prices, subscriptions, trials, artist access, creator access, and in-app purchases may change over time.

Payment terms shown at checkout or inside the relevant app store apply to paid features.

10. Intellectual Property

ARfi, its design, brand, software, interface, systems, and original content are owned by ARfi or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative products from ARfi unless you have written permission.

11. Disclaimers

ARfi is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that ARfi will always be available, accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Location-based and augmented reality features may be inaccurate or unavailable depending on device, network, GPS, permissions, environment, or platform limitations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARfi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or content.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the website, app, email, or another reasonable method.

Continued use of ARfi after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
